What Is Ganoderma ?

Growing interest has also spurned scientific investigation. Preliminary evidence suggests Ganoderma lucidum exhibits some therapeutic properties within a lab setting, but it is not clear if these properties will be observed in a human population.

The FDA does not currently recognize any medicinal effects of this mushroom.

Reishi mushroom appears to have a variety of specialized molecules which might help it work in many different ways. Some of the Ganoderma extracts include long-chain sugar molecules (polysaccharides), including beta glucans. The chemistry of these compounds is complex and I won't go into it here.

Ganoderma ResearchMost websites that discuss Ganoderma lucidum only talk about the research. From what I've been able to gather, few websites actually show you the research.
